July 21-22 will see the 12th Meguiar's MotorEx on show at The Dome in Sydney Olympic Park.

The 12^th annual Meguiar’s MotorEx, the largest and most prestigious motoring enthusiast event of its kind in Australia, was officially launched last week in Sydney. Those in the Sydney CBD area got a taste of what will be on display at MotorEx 12 in Sydney’s Olympic Park Dome on July 21-22, with a selection of Australia’s hottest modified and stock vehicles set up in Martin Place.

Now in its 12^th year, Australia’s greatest annual celebration of custom, performance and collectable cars will cover more than 22,000 square metres and attract a vehicle display valued at more than $50 million.

MotorEx attracts hundreds of the country’s best cars, featuring everything from hot rods, street machines, hi-tech tuners, custom cars, competition cars and wild motorcycles to the finest examples of Australian and US muscle cars, performance parts and a host of other must-see displays.

Last weekend we went out to support a new event in the Sydney scene called Showcased. It's organised by the team at THE-LOWDOWN.com and Fast Fours was there to represent with a new Toyota 86. Disc Brakes Australia had a media team with them who put together this awesome video. Take a look.

Last night in Sydney, EA Games launched their latest incarnation of Need For Speed; a new game called The Run. Those who have an XBox 360 or PlayStation 3 should look out for this one when it hits shelves on November 17th. We gave it a run for its money and it definitely plays well. The premise of the game is an all out battle to cross the United States, from San Francisco to New York. Winning the race means taking home enough cash to pay off the loan sharks who are chasing you.

Fans of simulators might find the arcade style racing hard to adjust to, but it's pure entertainment as you slip between traffic and dart down shortcuts to grab 1st place. Here's a few shots from the launch party at Scuderia Graziani; a prestiguous car dealership and home to Australia's only Pagani Zonda. These rides may not be Fast Fours, but I'm sure everyone can appreciate supercar class when they see it.

The Toyota AE86 Corolla/Sprinter, is one of the most iconic and loved cars to ever leave Japan. At Okayama International Circuit a fortnight ago, dozens of 'hachi rokus' hit the track as part of the 12th Annual AE86 Festival.

We sent our man Jeremy out there to check on the action, and he scored plenty of coverage for an upcoming issue of Fast Fours.
