Our event of the year last year had to be Yokohama's World Time Attack Challenge. An epic two days of motorsport that left us buzzing. Exciting updates regarding the 2012 round is filtering through day by day, and there's already enough news to get excited about.

The confirmed dates are August 10th & 11th, 2012. Mark it in your calendar now and make sure you're in attendance. Another huge announcement late last year let us all know that Japanese tuning giant, RE Amemiya, will be there with their lightning blue 'Hurricane' FD RX-7. Last night in Sydney, EA Games launched their latest incarnation of Need For Speed; a new game called The Run. Those who have an XBox 360 or PlayStation 3 should look out for this one when it hits shelves on November 17th. We gave it a run for its money and it definitely plays well. The premise of the game is an all out battle to cross the United States, from San Francisco to New York. Winning the race means taking home enough cash to pay off the loan sharks who are chasing you.

Fans of simulators might find the arcade style racing hard to adjust to, but it's pure entertainment as you slip between traffic and dart down shortcuts to grab 1st place. Here's a few shots from the launch party at Scuderia Graziani; a prestiguous car dealership and home to Australia's only Pagani Zonda. These rides may not be Fast Fours, but I'm sure everyone can appreciate supercar class when they see it.

The Toyota AE86 Corolla/Sprinter, is one of the most iconic and loved cars to ever leave Japan. At Okayama International Circuit a fortnight ago, dozens of 'hachi rokus' hit the track as part of the 12th Annual AE86 Festival.

We sent our man Jeremy out there to check on the action, and he scored plenty of coverage for an upcoming issue of Fast Fours.

A few weeks ago we let you know about Ken Block's upcoming appearance downunder. The big demo took place almost a fortnight ago with Monster Energy putting on a huge show for crowds at Calder Park in Melbourne. We've just been sent this great video below for you to check out. Enjoy!

The hype surrounding late Formula 1 hero, Ayrton Senna, has reached fever pitch around the world. Whether you know the ins and outs of his career or not, the recently released Senna film is a must-see for any motoring enthusiast!

If you're a Sydneysider, there is a unique opportunity to see the film and help out a good cause tonight! A handful of local organisations, including Circuit Club, JDM Style Tuning and Auto Obsession, are hosting a private screening of Senna at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter.

A couple of years ago I came so close to buying a Liberty RS. In the end I went with something else, but after seeing this video, I want one all over again. Colin McRae is without doubt one of the greatest drivers of our time, and the video below is a sample of his brilliance. It also highlights just how awesome Subaru rally cars are, with no music or commentary to spoil the sound of the RS. This was filmed at the Tour de Corse, Rallye de France in 1993.

Meguiar's MotorEx is upon us as of tomorrow, being held at Sydney's Olympic Park over the weekend.
