Canberra of course didn't go without some dramatic moments. Show 'n' Shine Veterans Queen Street had a few of their cars join the party. They were able to make the journey to the show 'n' shine without hitch, however some misfortune found its way into their day.

Check out more over the fold

Ouch! After hearing the unmistakable thud of bad luck, I turned around and this is what I saw. Some might blame the heavy clutch, some might blame the poor visibility, some may blame the wet surface, perhaps it was all of these, or simply some misaligning of planetary bodies causing a shift in gravitational forces. Whatever it was I  feel bad for these guys. They only just rocked up.

This is Aaron's car, obviously he's the one that's been hit. For what Queen Street generally do, this car is quite the pleasant sight. Although it's got scissor doors, the rims are a nice choice as is the bodykit. It looks quite the part don't you think?

This then was the second car involved. While the driver was reversing into a spot, he hit into Aaron. Visibility was low and the surface was slippery, the odds were stacked. An unfortunate incident. It was great to see the guys in high spirits later on though. Aaron actually claimed an award for the Show 'n' Shine at the end of the day despite the drama. Good on you Aaron.

Here he is with his award. Hope you're able to get that damage buffed out soon! The car had only just been finished very recently too. poor guy.

Another one of Queen Street's RX7s. This one went front page cover of Hot4s Magazine not too long ago. I remember overhearing someone asking how these guys don't get put away when he had been defected for ride height in basically a stock looking Toyota. I guess the paper work involved might be encouragement enough!

I didn't get to find out much about this car, I think he left before any of the other Queen Street cars. I wonder if it really does just have one wiper?

So along with the plenty of thrills, there was bound to be some spills. It was great having the Queen Street guys rock up to add that splash of visual assault ot any show n shine, pity about the ding though. Hope you guys get that sorted okay!
