We all have some degree of geek inside of us, and this is the side that Supanova calls to. It's clever how instead of labelling itself a "geek convention", it's aptly called a pop culture expo. It's quite eye-opening however to see how popular geek culture has become and is becoming. We can thank our old friend Mr Internets for this one.

One of the coolest things that I spotted that'll apply to all you JDMers out there and for all of you that dig drift, is Takumi Fujiwara's AE86 Trueno. It was just chilling at in the lobby so I thought I'd have a quick snap taken.

So for any of you that may have wondered... The characters on the side of that car are

藤原とうふ店(自家用)

Which is pronounced "foo-jee-wo-rah-toe-foo-me-seh (ji-ka-yaw)" which literally means Fujiwara Tofu Shop (Personal use). The 自家用 pretty much states that this is a privately owned car which also gets used for some kind of business use

Put on by the crew at VicDrift the 2010 Hardtuned.net Drift attack was a day of non stop action, skids and adventures.

 With big prize money on offer some of the top drivers from all over the country would be making the trip across Australia to Victorias Winton raceway

So naturally when the boys from Hit and Run drift club asked if i wanted to come along i said yes, after approximately 10 minutes of contemplation about the 10 hour drive from Sydney and the fact id be driving my 180sx.

So here some quick shots from the day and we will be bringing you a full feature in the mag shortly. 

 The team from Insane drifters (http://www.insanedrifters.com/blog/) were out in force. Nigel on the Right would go on to take second place after a hard fought round...

Fast Fours & Rotaries had the privilege of joining the Drifters Unleashed DVD launch party where we met a lot of the drivers and crew involved in the production. Check out our coverage on the event on the July 2010 Issue of the magazine which hits shelves 23rd of June!

Static car shows don't get any more grass roots than this. In days where car shows are looking more and more like raves or outdoor parties it certainly is refreshing to come across a static car show which is more about enjoying the cars on show than about anything else. All Japan Day is a budding annual car show held in Adelaide which is all about our appreciation for our four wheeled toys that come from the land of Initial D and clear umbrellas.
