If you read September issue 2010 of Fast Fours & Rotaries Magazine, you might recall that we featured Flashrods's flash drive cars. Check it out on page 14 if you haven't already. Well, will wonders ever cease, we had a couple of these gems show up at the office today thanks to Dave and Kayla from Flashrods and we are mightily impressed. Jason from Performance Imports Magazine and I can now be spotted cruising around in our new GT-Rs and CTR, wreaking havoc on the USB drives around the office.

I was writing up the news segement for the magazine yesterday when I came across this. I decided not to use it for the magazine due to it's time sensitive nature. So anyway, I flick on the television this morning and witnessed Sunrise morning tellie's account of Googles latest technology allowing cars to drive themselves.

Seems pretty legit seeing that these guys have already trekked 140,000 kilometres and apparently experienced no dramas except for one time when one of the rigs was hit from behind. But that could have just been a red blooded motorist noticing the Prius in front of him then decided to put the pedal to the floor!

Plazmaman's water to air intercooler system

Glenn from Zoom magazine happened to pass by at Plazmaman yesterday and found an opportunity check out their water to air intercooler. With a hand-held camera at the ready, Glenn documented as Alex from Plazmaman demonstrated their water cooler intercooler system.

Interesting stuff, first time I came across one of these was on Luke Fink's old onevia which he drove up to Sydney for Powercruise in 2008. Fondly enough that car ran the trip to Sydney from Melbourne and back with a red sticker firmly planted on the windshield.
