I flicked on the old idiot box this morning as my eyes were still adjusting to being rudely disturbed from their slumber. I can't remember which programme I was watching as I was still acclimatising to the world of wake. It was either Seven's Sunrise, Nine's Today or Ten's early morning news although I doubt it was ten.

Irrelelevant. Whatever it was, it had my attention fixed on a story that had me pondering during my drive to work. Did you know that Learner drivers can speed up to 5 times during their driving test and still score their P's?
